Q: Why should I join PMATV?

A: Consider what you paid for your ATV and then consider the cost of membership in PMATV. You will soon realize what a bargain it is to have an organization fighting for your right to ride. PMATV is also a wonderful place to make new friends and discover new places to ride.

Q: I have seen some of the pictures on the site and have to admit that some of the riding seems intense.  Will I be able to ride with the club?

A: PMATV members come in all shapes and sizes as well as experience levels. Let us know if you are a beginner or an advanced rider and we will do our best to find someone that shares your level of ridership.

Q: Who decides what is safe and what is not?

A: You do, It is every riders responsibility to keep themselves safe. You as the individual have to use your own common sense to figure out what you are comfortable with. No rider should ever ride beyond their capabilities. It is better to turn around and go back than to get hurt.

Q: As a member am I required to attend all of the meetings?

A: While we always enjoy meeting our members on a one to one basis we do realize that time is precious to everyone. We do not require members to attend any particular number of meetings but if we do not know you then it is hard to figure you into our road trips and outings.

Q: Does PMATV participate in activities with other clubs?

A: Yes we do and we have made friends across many counties and states. We urge people to get involved with a club closest to where your home is.  This way you can get involved and participate without having to drive long distances. We will list many clubs from our area along with their contact information. What club you decide to join will be up to your personal preference.

Q: Does my ATV need to be registered and insured?

A: PMATV does not require either but most of the places that we ride do. If you do not register or insure your machines then PMATV can not be responsible if we get somewhere and you are refused entry. Insurance is cheap and PA recognizes almost all out of state registrations.

Q: When and Where are your meetings held.

A: Our meetings are held the third Saturday of every month at The Edelweiss Restaurant in Pocono Lake PA at 6:00PM in the Edelweiss Room. From time to time we may have to change the date and time of the meetings.  This can happen for a number of reasons but the most common reason is because of scheduling conflicts with monthly rides. All changes will be posted on the club calender which you will be able to find in the Message board area. Click the banner below for information and directions to the Edelweiss Restaurant.
